SAFE? GE Silicone I* Window and Door

Hey fellow RC'ers how are yall.

Had a tube of this laying in the garage and im planning to use it to secure glass baffles in a sump.

I'd like to know if this is safe to use (reef safe) to hold baffles in a sump.

Exact model:
GE Silicone I* 100% Silicone Rubber Sealant.
Color: White

This same exact model sold on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/GE-Silicone-1-Wi...sid=p1638.m118

It reads not for aquariums but can this be because it needs to cure?

any input would be great thank you very much,
AL.

I have seen people use it and be ok, i wouldnt use it though... be sure to get the one that does not have the mold and mildew inhibitor and use the clear.

I have used about 60-70 times over the past few years and I have never had a problem. I have used in almost every possible way and I only use the clear. You should be A-OK

The clear yellows. I have used both the white and clear. White is fine.

Yes it's safe. as long as it doesn't say "BIO SEAL" on it.
