stocking a larger reef

I have decided to upgrade from a 20g long (drilled, and plumbed into a 29g fuge) to a larger drilled for a 20g sump/fuge, I was thinking somewhere in the 50g- 70g range (but still small enough that 4 24" 40 watt T5HO and 1 65 watt PC bulbs would work for lighting, also tank has to be an AGA or perfecto tank. I am planning to upgrade after the holdidays, and the tank will be a reef, w/ mostly softys and some LPS (frogspawn, tcanycane, maybe a brain, possibly a few more). all I have now is a female ocellaris clown.

I was thinking maybe something along the lines of
1 ocellaris clown (might get her a mate eventually)
1 flame angel
1 blenny
1 royal gramma, blackcap basslet, or chalk bass

That's a good list. It would be better to get both clownfish at the same time when they are small; the dominant one will then naturally establish itself.

I have decided on a 50g showtank, and was thinking
1 clown
1 larger fish (blue hippo tang, CBB, or bannerfin butterfly)
1 flame angel (would give up if it meant I could keep more wrasses)
1 blenny
1-3 wrasses (filimented flasher wrasse, yellow coris, radiant wrasse, or leopard wrasse)

The Hippo will get too big for a 50, you might consider a yellow tang instead. The CBB will need an established tank to do well, plus they need lots of rock work to hunt.

I'm always a fan of the leopard wrasse...mine is one of the most interesting/different fish that I have...but keep in mind they can upset your rockwork as they sleep under the sand and sometimes "swim" under the sand...same with dragon wrasses, but both are awesome fish! I would really think you would need more swimming room (lengthwise) for either the purple tang or the bannerfish. What about any of the watchman gobies? They add great personality to a reef, and quite the variey of colors...

yeah, I figured the tang would be a bad idea. so now I am aiming more for
1 clown
1 filimented flasher wrasse
1 other wrasse or 1 flame angel
3 firefish or 2-3 cardinals
1 blenny (or a watchman goby and tiger pistol shrimp)
