Unknown Blenny - should I get it?

An LFS just got in a handful of blennies that look similar to Canary Blennies, but are NOT. He is not sure what they are. The pic below is the best one I could find that looks like them (their heads are much greener than the picture below).

Can anyone tell me something about them? I can't find any useful information online about husbandry.

How large do they get? What do they eat? Reef safe? Will one get along with a tank full of other inhabitants?

Not knowing any of the answers to the above questions, should I stay away from this fish?

Smith's Blenny? (Meiacanthus smithi) Sure looks like a fang blenny of some type...

Yeah, I think its a fang blenny. I don't think its a smith's, but sure would be cool if it was (my last name). The smith blenny is a different color. And I don't remember the blenny in question having the eyebrow marking.

Beautiful, probably mildly poisonous, fanged blenny. I'd go for it unless you have a fish that's likely to provoke a fight.

Thanks, Kevin. The bundoon is a highly likely candidate. Fishbase says it reaches 8cm (3 inches). I think that is the most likely at this point.

The common name is Canary Blenny but they are from Tonga. The Tonga ones are generally Green VS the normal Yellow color.

I saw him on the BAR forum yesterday.

I bit the bullet and paid for the fish yesterday (there was only one left!). I'll proabably take him home today.
