Those American DJ switches sure have become popular around here.
I just wish they came more spread out so you could fit timers on them without adding the extensions!! Looking good lunch, cant wait till its up and runnin!

Todd March - yeah it is nice to get into a NORMAL sized tank i have been waiting MANY MANY years i'm excited!!! hey no prob on the documentation and updates...it is fun and heck if someone can learn along the way GREAT!!! Triterium - i don't know if you NEED to but it is a nice thought and makes me feel special Creade - yeah they have been VERY popular...i thought i remember hearing about that timers didn't fit...that just sucks. what extensions did you use? i think i am gonna attach the DJ units facing outward on teh back side of the tank. I can't wait to see it. Just wish you had chosen a different tank size as that's the one I have and I don't want to have to compare.
Great sized tank, I think you'll be very happy. Just hope you have a good reflector to spread that light out ... 3' can give some shadows with 1 MH I thought. Looking great, but I sure hope you move it from somewhere other than next to your furnace. Don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to hang out around there all the time

Dude, you're movin' on up.
The setup looks great. I'm very interested in hearing your experience with the blueline pump. You've certainly stepped-up to the plumbing and kicked it's arse. Nice work. I'm pretty excited to see what you can accomplish with the new tank. Best of luck. E. |

you mentioned you wanted black PVC. most home depots at least in my area carry black PVC. i used regular white for most of the plumbing then the black for the elbows that show in the tank. also you could use those balck plastic ball joint pipes.(they remind me of kinex or tinker toys). they are also nice because they are adjustable.
