How do you plan to deal with the humidity/evap in the back room? It will be a serious issue with a tank that size..

I will have electric exhaust fan/vents in the ceiling that will exhast the humidity out to the attic. The attics side vent screen to the outside is right above that room....how convenient

For evaporation I will have my RODI unit plummed to float/auto top off.

You may want to make sure that your attic is more proactively vented. I am currently planning my addition to my house which includes a 480 gallon tank plus a fish room. I am having an exhaust fan wired to come on either when the humidity or temp gets too high or when I flip the switch. This is vented directly outside. I also have an independant AC unit just for the fish room. The unit is rated to be able to cool up to 1600 square feet, but the room is only 130 square feet. I just picked up the detailed plans from the architect and it should have the building permit within three weeks.

The electric exhaust fan/vent will be directly duct to the outside attic screen vent, It won't be pumping any hot/humid air directly into the attic.

Thanks

Now that's a stand.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it and is it made out of aluminum ? If not how are you planning on protecting it from the salt (powdercoating) ?

SO, we can expect pictures of the completed project on Tuesday then?

You'll have everything on Monday, so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that your wife will stay up all night with you and finish things up!

Looks like a tight fit to clean that window on the left.

Cheap light source though.

Is the budget on this thing public?

There will be about a 24"x 19" foot print by that window to clean if needed.
That room can get a lot of sunlight, but there are blinds there, I'll need to monitor and see if additional coverage is needed

Hmmmmmmm.....the budget, I don't want to be reminded lets just say, my wife is still questioning if we should of got a nice swimming pool this year instead.

Thx

This stand is freakin crazily overbuilt. ya really gotta see it to appreciate how beefy this thing is! The person who engineered it did a couple of changes that made the stand more rigid, the stand was designed to hold 10tons.

Thanks TFP for helping me move this to the house!

that frame is masive.
good thing it's slab or there would be another cage like that in the basement holding up the tank & im sure it would be housing a refugium/sump & everything else downthere
