Unhappy New peacock not doing good..

well, for the last 5 days my peacock has been in hiding. i figured he was molting cus i could see her moving in her cave. so i left her alone and now today when i get home i see her out and i get all excited then notice she isnt responding like she usualy does. she is staying in the same spot moving but she keeps going belly up or face down straight up. every once in awhile she keeps fliping around but she looks like she is fighting to stay alive

i have some pics that i was going to post but i cant find my cable for my camera. once i find it i wil post up the pics.

maybe she will recover from this and all will be well, but i fear she had a bad molt.

here are some pics i took of what has been doing.

she gets into these positions and stays there for awhile. she even lays on her back....then she does a few flips and stays there again. so i think it was a bad molt.

One of the raptorial appendages is missing? Thats not necissarily a bad thing, they will sometimes drop the appendage if they cant molt correctly. I dont know about the loss in color though. If she is more active now id say she will probably be ok

LOL.. i cant keep a clean up crew in there that she wouldnt eat. and i dont mess with the tank when they are molting and then this problem came up so its been a few weeks. i have a new tank that she was supposed to go into weeks ago but i am afraid to put her in her new home until i see her doing better.

she did in fact loose 1 of her raptorial appendages and she seems to be moving around some more but she still just lays there with her head down. defilently not the same as she once used to be. her coloring is still kinda off, she just isnt as bright anymore. but maybe it will come back after the molt......

oh and on another note, i decided to go ahead and put her in her larger home in hopes that it may make it better. she was in a 5.5g for about a month or so while her new tank was being put together and cycling.

when i moved her to the new tank i searched around to see if i could find the molted shell but i found nothing not even the appendage that is missing. i know they sometimes hide it in the sand for a meal later on. i guess it is just time to wait and see what happens.
