peristaltic pumps

I need to know if someone that has a peristaltic dosing pump ever got just tubing from a tubing company?
I know I can get replacement tube for $20.
Like to save in the long run say 50 feet for $100 would save a lot then 6 inches at $20.I saw some companies but need to ask here if anyone found a place that work for them.
Any help would do.

You can try this company cole-parmer . they have almost every size tubing for peristaltic pumps. We use them for our slurry pumps and metering pumps at work. lots of fun goodies...

download the gilson minipuls 3 manual from their website. They list tubes by materials and ID and have charts with the flow you will get. Then order the tubing you want from mcmaster.com. Just make sure you order something with a decent wall thickness and pressure rated.

You can get the same tubing that cole-parmer sells, but for a LOT less $ from usplastic.com. I use L/S 13 tubing and got the norprene tubing because it resists alkalai the best and is also long lasting. I use the tubing to dose 2-part.

What size tubing do you want? The L/S 13 tubing is item #54288 (1/16" inner diameter, 3/16" outer diameter).

I am looking for the size that works on a aqua medic sp-3000.
I look at it and ID 1/4 or 5/16, OD 7/16 , wall .90 or 3/32.
That is way i asked I did not see one close to it.

I don't know about that pump, but if it takes tubing that has an outer diameter of 7/16, then you should be fine with tubing of the same outer diameter. Item #54293 is 7/16" OD.

I got 5/16 ID x 7/16 OD x 1/6 wall but will not work. Got 5/16 ID x 1/2 OD x 3/32 wall but too big for motor to turn. the tubing may be enlarged ID from pumping that I looked at and wall does not look thick as old one. I getting 1/4 OD x 7/16 OD x 3/32 wall and see if that works being smaller OD.I see they have it that you need the right size not too big or too thick and thin or it will not work.

I got the other type but will not work as the OEM type.
they must have a special made softer tubing and this motors on dosers not strong to turn harder tubing.
