cruel

my m8 has bought a pair of maroon clowns, they were in a red tip anemonie in the lfs. i have just been round to visit and look and his tank and the male clown was ripping the anemonie to bits, it took one of its tenticales off why i was stood there, the clowns were trying to get inside the anemonie, it was trying to hide under a rock up side down in the sand, I told him to take the clowns back asap before the anemonie died. reply was let nature do its job, if it dies it dies, WOT A PRAT! tomatoe and maroon are noted to be hard work. But god this guy as really ****** me off.

Ignorance and a lack of empathy instilled when he was growing up.

The only question worth asking here is.. Can you take the time to patiently and kindly explain to him why what he is doing is wrong (well, to be objective, why *we* believe it is wrong) or will you probably just punch him in the head after five seconds?

Sad that people like him have the money to get these wonderful animals.

It is not uncommon for clowns to bite at the tips of an anemone. Your friend must be doing something else wrong to get that kind of reaction from the anemone. They are generally difficult to keep on their own.
