Flow idea???? wavemaker

I thought of this idea which might be good, might not... I was thinking its kind of like a closed loop idea but not quite.. On the left and right side of the tank there is an outlet to the pump and in the middle back there is a large intake.. then an scwd or something like that "souped" up or fixed up to divert the flow to either outlet.. turning on on the left then on the right quickly to generate a wave... you could use an OM squirt souped up maybe or solenoids on the outlet..

i dunno its just an idea lol
