It's H. exesa. Look at the skeleton & pattern that the 'rows' of polyp grow in. I've never seen a Pavona like that, in aquarium, or on reef. Similar, yes. But, it is H. exesa, no doubt.

I bought it as a pavona from a local store and have seen similar pieces listed as pavona. This next linl/pic is definately the coral in my tank, if it's a hydno, then that's what I have as I've seen it melt away neighbors and the pic is right on.
