Make up some "coupons".

One Year I made up about 10 different coupons that he could redeem anytime (well... within reason)

without being too direct- here are a few edited examples:

"This Coupon Good For one "hug" while you watch TV.

This Coupon good for one "Hug" in the car.

etc etc... Also I threw In a few that were for nice favors - Like Redeemable to get out of Dish Duty - Or 2 loads of laundry.

This was a few years ago I did this and My husband was thrilled - He has saved just one coupon and teases me with it occassionally - He likes to threaten to use it when I'm mad at him. "Now baby if You dont calm down I'm gonna have to redeem the "Stop talking and leave me alone for 1 hour coupon"

Get creative -even i you do them by hand - they are still fun. and exciting.

Yes - I normally do all the laundry but he is assigned Towel duty - Thats his job.

I just dont do dishes - I do everything else but I dont do dishes. But My sink is always empty. Since I cook, he takes care of dishes. he just does it, I've never really had to ask.
