Wow, don't visit for a few days, and JenDub goes on a quest to cause all the male reefers to short out their keyboards with drool.

Great pics, thanks also for explainning the difference between them.

Now yall West Coast and East Coast reefers start growing the stuff faster, so that way yall can finally get it to us in the south central US.

I noticed mine doing the same too. I heard that they would grow slower then lords but I think that is wrong. I would be sooo happy if they grow faster. hehe....all mine

The coral I got this last September was supposedly a Micro. And it has grown very fast. I'm working on a growth sequence of it. Hopefully I'll have the pictures up soon.

here are a couple more pics of my 'mothramussa'. After seeing all the micromussa pics that are up now I'm feeling like it is Dimunata. Adding to the mystery is that fact that I haven't taken the best care of it, and I think generally it's pretty ****ed. In one shot you can see some skeleton through the tissue - before blenny attack it was much plumper at all times. So here are my last attempts at ID, I hope the skeleton sheds some light:

Sorry flash washed out pic really bad

From Aims

Sometimes it's still puffy during the day like it used to be, after the blenny almost killed it this is how it has come back. It may need more light as I have it on the bottom of my T5 lit 75. (I just picked it up and moved it for this shot)

So what do we think? I'm talking to a couple people about some trades right now and want to get the vote from those who have micros before passing it off as Micromussa diminuta.

Clownfishcrazy, were you talking to Mothra or to the micro people?

I wouldn't mind seeing it next to some micro to.

The polyps are very small. You could take 2 of the largest polyps and just about fit them on a dime. The small polyps are smaller than a pencil eraser.

I was talking to mothra, but if anybody else wants to take a pic with a ruler that would be cool.

Yes, but here is two reasons that I dislike that!

Last two times I had stuf delievered were delayed, so they didn't make it through the journey. So I have become kinda hesitate.

Besides that is just another 50+ dollars added to the price. So I hate only picking up one thing here, and one thing there.
