Hey Steven did you pay for this one?

Where did you get it from. Btw FishTown has a Green, that been there for about a month and it's still alive so it must be hardy. It's only $37.99 less 20%.

Here's a new one I just scored today. It is a common scolymia Vitiensis but kinda rare/uncommon with red/pink color.

It is still not happy yet:

Jow13, thanks for the compliment .

Jeff, a nice healthy one can run from 100 to 150 for solid red/orange color. I even see some online vendor listed them for 300+. If you can get it for less than 100 then that's even better.

FYI, there is a really nice bright red one on premiumaquatics.com It is in the cherry pick LPS section.

I almost bought it when I saw it but don't have any more room.

Some one please buy it before I loose control of myself....

I'm still scratching my head as to why Blastos and Acans are more popular than Scolymias. They are definitely one of my favorite corals (next to my open brain). The colors are amazing, and they are more "interactive" than SPS corals. They're also very peaceful Nice pics!

BrookR1,

I am with you on your point. There are plenty of nice/rare LPS out there that we can indulge ourselves in. I keep a wide varieties in my LPS tank. I do have lots of acan and enchinos in there. Favias, favites, scolymia, and cynaria are also sharing the same tank.

I was going to post a picture of my new baby, but it looks like downset has beat me to it. I ordered him from premium aquatics!

I'll post some pictures of him in my tank when I get it on Wednesday.
