Perhaps I should have asked it a different way. Is there certain characteristics present in indo lords vs non indo?

Hi guys, don't post too often on RC, but after looking through this thread and seeing all these beautiful acans I thought I'd add mine.

It's an aussie one and it wasn't cheap but it sure is nice

Too bad i'm in canada or i'd love to trade with some of you. Due to the cost of this guy I've broken the colony up

Yes they are expensive. Unless you catch a good deal. Usually for $100 or more a polyp they're really nice ones. Like the first 2 were $200 a polyp. And the last ones were more like $50-$75 I forgot by now.

Those first 2 are so incredible - How do the colors hold up? Have you had them long or do you still have them. I am a little gun shy to shell out the cash for some of the really crazy pastel colored lords for fear that they will fade over time. Anyone have any that have remained in their tanksfor any length of time??

Salt - Sadly the first one bailed out. So I lost that one. The second one is doing ok. Some days its better then others. I've only had them for about 3 months. The colors are holding up, no problem. However, there hasn't been any new polyps yet.

I know what you mean about being guy shy. It's hard to spend alot. Fortunately I had a wonderful beginning. Where the pieces I bought did great. So that gave me the confidence to move forward. I know others who weren't for fortunate. Either they died or whatever. But it made it hard for them to spend that kind of money again.

I would say do what you feel comfortable with.

i'm not buying frags. I'm buying full colonies or at least quarter colonies. The one I posted earlier I had about 65 polyps of it. I still have about 40 of them.

if you want to move to canada i'll sell you frags
