Another really nice one.. Named after its founder

As red morphs go I am usually unimpressed But the red and yellow this baby shows is remarkable

John, what type of lighting do you have?

All Delight, man, I wish I lived in a hood like yours

Chris, One time I made the rediculous statement like 'I almost have all of Doc's morphs on the way...HaHA!' Spoken like a true donkey!!! WOW, I can't believe those new morphs.

John, do you feel there was accurate color representation in RM's photos of that colony? I had 20k XM 250wts on my old 55g, and it really made my colors POP! I'm not trying to bag on the photo, I can officially claim 'RC's worst photographer' title -not kidding!-, it's just that your shot looks more brick red compared to RM's. It will without a doubt be a sweet lil' micro colony in your tank, but true to life, which photo do you feel more accurately captures the color?

I am not a good RC photographer either. I took more than a few tries to get an accurate picture of what the coral looks like in my tank. The picture you see is how it looks to the naked eye. Here they are side by side. The red does not have the same POP. I don't know if actinic lighting would bring out more of the bright red.

I think actnic would help bring out the red more but I don't know if it would help that much, that pic the red actually hurts my eyes

I do notice that the picture from RM was top down and that does make a difference...not sure how much of a difference.

Top down makes a big difference. You also have to consider the type of lighting. I was at RM yesterday. I recall him saying he uses 20K 1000 watters. And its a huge "tub", if you will, that the corals are in. I'd say the "tubs" is probably 30 feet long and 6 feet wide. I think there were 6 bulbs hanging above each tub.

I buy alot from RM, Chris is a good guy.
