pics of BTA right before split?

Anyone have a pic of what a BTA, or more specificly what a RBTA looks like before a split? I'm trying to figure out what's going on with mine.

Well this is when one of mine had just started splitting. Not sure if this is what you are looking for because this isn't "before" a split, but a split in progress.

Thanks. Still, Im not sure what's going on with mine. He's been looking "less glorious" lately. He opens but not as full as he was and tenticles don't extend as far as before.

My first split, a good one, but I missed pictures of the very beginning because I didnt know what it was doing.

Basically it got on the glass, then one side went one way, and the other side decided to go the other way

And it kept it's bulbs throughout. Wow.
Something must be pestering mine. It's like he looks "OKish" but not expanding as he should. He hasn't budged one bit so the current must be OK and he's def not losing zoo nor reaching for the light. He's dark not bleaching. Not rotting. Just not expandng.

I know the drill, lol...
Ca. 400 (Salifert)
Alk 9.5 (Salifert)
Mg 1300 (Salifert)
Ammonia 0 (Salifert)
Nitrate 0 (Salifert)
Temp 80*, 24/7 (Ranco)
pH 8.19 (Pinpoint)
Tested Fri. evening

Anyway I replaced two of my VHO in an effort. I know if light was weak he'd be reaching more, idunno. I'm at a loss as to what is his prob. Hosting two ocelaris FWIW. Aso did 3 15% WC over the past 4 days just for fun.

What are you feeding it, what size pieces and how often? Also the pH is a tad low there, I try to keep 8.3. What's your sg also?
