Do you have anything done to your RX doc? I had a 93 twin turbo rx7 back in the day. A little boost, hks fuel, full exhaust, and a few other little tricks. That car was light and moved pretty nice. Then I went to a supra and been toyota since then. Huhh funny I still have one of my old supras in the garage sitting there. TOYS TOYS TOYS...I am in Germany right now for training. It was nice driving on the autoban with no worries. Just had to keep moving out of the way of the beamers and audies. I got a little rental. next time I need to get the Aston rental.

m1enbo1... Thank You Very much.. It s makes me happy I'll try to do something this weekend so I can get you all some more pics

Erics ... Nah I ordered the car brand new with every available option and have fought to keep it perfectly stock with no alterations...(my 16yo son and 20 yo son have fought me to "Pimp it out Dad") At my age I do not need to go faster than 150 or to get past 60 before 6.0 sec LOL The entire rotary engine Idea is quite a thing to drive as you know from your 7 a great Balance of powerband vs wieght

Well OK heres is my excuse... The Tank, Skimmer, Sump and even makeup tank are plumbed and running.. The Sand is in the tank even But when I turned everything on a couple of problems arose.. Maybe you all can help? The sand is a VERY fine Carribean Argonite... I made a shallow bed in the tank that stands only 3" this has the sand level about 4" under the back ports for the OM.. When I turned it all on the first problem was Sandstorm! well that locked the OMs up.. so I had to EXTRACT the Drums... the drums are now out and everything is running at 1/2 power... all throttled back... But the tank remains Milky white from the sand even a week later... still have not added salt... I took and added some fitting to further raise the ports now about 7inches above the sand.. BUT the could remains.. I guess that I could just turn it all off and let it settle

???

Oh BTW I'll be in Little rock on the 11th to meet the Glass Cages Truck to pick up my new 29" X 56" X 13" rimmless Frag tank and also a standard 65 gallon Refugium

I'd go ahead and add the salt if I were you. You already have junk blowing around as it is -- why wait until it's gone, only to repeat the process when you add the salt? You might consider adding some live sand as well (after adding the salt), as this may increase the bacterial content of the sand and promote that invisible "film" of bacterial material that eventually keeps the sand at the bottom of our tanks. Not sure if this is any better than just being patient and waiting it out, but it's a thought. Personally I'd stick with the pumps at 1/2 power (maybe turn off 1 of the 3), although I'm not sure if the Darts are going to like that kind of back pressure??

Frag tank'll be sweet!

Good info Dudester... I think I will try that.. might as well be cycling things while I wait... and I had forgotten about the whole film thing.. that should help also... Paul at OM said to throttle the darts back he said they would be fine... They seem to handle it well...

Have you added your live rock yet? That may also help some by deflecting the current away from the sand.

A sock on the returns might get some of the sand out as well.
