kenya tree?

i have a kenya tree hitch-hicker that is growing about 1/2" a month. its about 5" tall and in need of removal. i would like to frag it for trade to my LFS. i have plenty of rubble to attach it, im just not sure of where to cut or if i should use superglue gell (100% cyanoacrylate) or not. thanx for your help and have a beautiful day. always, REEF-ON!

superglue will not work, cut it off, stick a needle with fishing line thru it and tie it around the rock!!

Instead of using a needle and fishing line I use toothpicks and rubberbands. Best method is to "impale" the kenya near its base and then cut the stalk with a razor blade. Then wrap a rubberband around a piece of rubble, attaching it to the ends of the toothpick so the base of the stalk is against the rock. It will grab on in a couple days and then you just pull the toothpick out.

na, but just stik a toothpick thru it like a sword then put the rubberband on the toothick and up and around to the other side over a piece of live rock. garf.org or garf.com

I'd just cut it off at the base with somethin very sharp. Then place it in a hole in a rock. I let my Kenya Trees attach themselves.

what about the (leftover) base on the rock? will it grow another tree? or will it decay and cause problems? REEF-ON!
