I am looking to buy maybe the v2 400 protein skimmer or maybe the red sea prizm. ive seen somany available and the uk prices are quite high any recommendations I would go for one that could handle twice the tank consumption.

Since you are in London, have you considered the Deltec line of skimmers? You should be able to get them much cheaper there.

You said the "BEST" so I'd have to say Bubble King.
But I have an ASM G3 on my 75 gallon and it is great.

There ARE a lot of choices out there, but I've heard that if you're on a budget, that the Coralife Super Skimmer is a good bang for your buck. Or pound, in your case. Good luck with it.

Do not, I repeat do not get get a red sea prizm. One of the worst out there. Pretty much a waste of money and you will have to spend more down the road.

Agreed! Look into a deltec or one of the german skimmers.
