Maybe this is the same one!! Could be whoever bought it thought the price was $69.99 and didn't realize it was $699 and later cancelled it?

the most i have ever spent on something was $70

i dont understand how someone could spend 10 times that on something that has such a brutal success rate. gorgeous dont get me wrong if i had the 700 i would buy it but, then my baby wouldnt eat or wear diapers for a few months....sounds good to me and....

who actually bought it. anyone on here or no? gsm was it really you or you just stirring **** up?

i could tell you but then id have to kill you. lol

la always updates their dd teaser (as i call it) page at a certain time and the individual pages about an hour later. they told me that they always upgrade the teaser with current stock. i have seen a couple times this was not the case but 99.9% of the time the livestock was on the page. remember that as soon as somebody buys the fish/invertebrate, it is removed from the page but not the teaser. ive purchased in the first minute and the page was never seen again.

I agree with you there tyler. I don't understand it either, that is one huge risk. IMO its worse than the risk of gambling or putting your whole pay check in the stock market.

This thing is over 700 if you add in the tax, shipping and handling..yes it says $699.99 one penny short of 700.. Its nice to look at anyways..think to yourself..gosh that would sure be nice to have in my tank.

thats just the way they are, even after QT. the 2 weeks QT of liveaquaria is not long enough for most anemones imo.

IME, few haddoni(most other carpets as well) come through wholesale/collection in good shape.

The seemingly better success rates of the green haddoni, and somewhat blues, is likely more due to quantity in the pipeline then anything else.

I am not surprised a haddoni died prior to ship, I suspect more die from initial collection through to first delivery to consumer then we all can imagine. Seeing bunches of magnifica, haddoni, and gigantea dying/dead at wholesaler operations is not quite inspiring. Hearing of another batch die within the first two weeks in hobbyist tanks is not heartening either.

These days I have been trying to put my investments toward critters with better odds of long term survival.

edited for clarity

The sad thing is I can understand how those anemones would fetch so much money (though I'd never fork out the cash, but they're still gorgeous if you have that much money lying around and a suitable tank), but come on LA. A pair of Latz for 900?? They were just around for 200-300 each very recently. Wow.

wicked_NaCl_h2o, GSMguy's "no" at the end of his post indicates that he was joking...
