Unfortunately i will not be able to take care of this batch bec im taking a trip. so hopefully ill be ready for the next batch.

does anyone use APR as a replacement to using rotifers?

i do not have experience with rotifers/phyo dev. so i was hoping to use it initially.

Very nice pair of percs. Would be real interesting to see if the pattern is simply inherited. Most likely would have to go to an F2 to have a bit of an idea....

thanks everyone. you are right marinebetta.

at this point im just happy they have spawned. as a hobbyist, you never really know if your doing things right until they are happy enough to spawn.

now im sure the real struggle begins.

Nice fish!

I am currently using a similar product from Azoo. I have been supplementing this with the rots just cause I'm real low on rots right now.
It seems to be working. They go into frenzy when i put it in. I'd say i used only about a 1/4 of the rots i usually use or less. I've had very minimal losses. Tomorrow is only day five with these guys. I'll start with some BBS in the morning and see how they do.

IF you would like i could test it out on your upcoming hatch. Just send me that live rock and I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyway GL

Congrates embryoguy!!

Not sure if it's a stupid Q on not, but in regards to Picasso's, I read in Hoff or Wilkerson that some fish are marketed falsely as Picasso and are actually just misbarred. My question is what's the difference and how to tell so as not to get burned. I notice the 2nd and 3rd strips are combined not missing, is that it?

Very cool fish, and I assume must be kept longer in sell with third strip full in, hence higher price. Are they wild caught Picasso's or are they tank raised and what region are they from if wild caught. Once again...awesome fish and best of luck....Carl

are the eggs still viable? they appear dark brown. still attached to the live rock though. the two btas completely block them from light and alot of flow.
