bassettmd,
............or anyone out there.
what is the leather in the middle front of your reef? To the left of the blue clam. Posted 6/22/07. I am a newbie and think I have a small version and need to know what it is and how to carre for it. I don't think it is happy where it is in my reef. And does it have the bumps on it like the Fiji Yellow, or other similar bumpy types.
Thanks
Jean

it looks like a regular toadstool to me but may be wrong.
how long have you had yours ,as they can sulk for a while when they are moved. usually moderate light and current is fine but most areas of a tank will do as long as there is some light.

I believe it is a Fili yellow Toadstool.

Also, Basset, what size Seio's are running in there?

I think you may be right. Sulking is probably what it was doing. I only had it about a week when I posted, but now it appears to be more alive and comfotable. I am not sure about "happy". I haven't figured out about these animals being happy.

From pics I found on RC, I think it may be what looks like a cabbage leather?
Thanks everyone for the input.
Jean
