Is this normal for a CD player?
Well, my cd player plays mp3 cd,s but anyways. When I am playing a mp3 cd, it spins the cd for about ten secs. then the cd stops spinning but the song continues to play. then when that songs over it immediately plays the next song, then the cd starts spinning for around 10 secs, then stops. and continues to play the song. Is this normal?
I think its pretty cool. I dunno, mabe it is a common feature? Thanks

Don't know if that is normal, but my guess is that an MP3 file is so compressed, it doesn't take long to read it. But, I have no idea what I am talking about

Yeah, that's about right. Only takes it 10 seconds to read the MP3, why put the extra wear on the motor spinning it for the whole 5+ minutes doing nothing?
