Pandora,

It is about 3 1/2-4" across. I don't know much about them. I asked Eric Borneman as it is my understanding that this particular clone originated from some live rock that he received about ten(?) years ago. They are very pretty and he says that they do not bother other tank inhabitants too much.

If you have any more info on them, let me know.

Thanks.

Garrett.

gastone, it may not be the same after all, then. Mine are smaller and stay smaller, and they do bother the inhabitants... they sting the bottoms of corals as they grow (but not as fast spreading as aiptasia). I have never been able to find out the name (they are not a type of majano or flower anemone), haven't found any pics anywhere...

Probably not the same as yours, which sound larger and less invasive.

Here's my H. crispa, just short of her full glory (I'll catch her full open one day--at least with a camera). She's 24" when fully expanded, but around 20" in this particular pic (which is about 2 years old).

Carson,
It's a Tomato. A pair actually; the other one is about 1/3 the size of this female. BTW, they are in the 65g.

Great Anemomes!!

OK, its been a long time since I have posted but I had to share a picture of my Ritteri, which I have owned for just about 2.5 years.

The mated pair of clowns have been with it since the begining.

I appolgize for the hand shadow on the top. Just getting the clowns attention!!
