water evaporation

have a 75 gal salt w corner overflow, one fan on top to keep light cooler does blow a little on water. how much evaporation does occur in one day seems like one gallon or more. thanks for input

I see about 2 gallons or so on my 90 gallon, as long as it keeps your tank cool, its ok as long as you keep toping off to keep salinity in check.

Just make sure you replace the evaporated water with fresh water, not salt water.

My 75 has been evaporating about a gallon a day on a short lighting schedule.

I am doing between one and two gallons a day. One of the advantages of running a sump is that the level of the display remains constant, and the decreased volume of water shows only the the return portion of the sump. You can take a look at my "under $20" auto top off in my gallery and PM me if you want to discuss it.

I loose about 1 gallon a day in my 75 with 15G sump and 10G refugium.

I lose close to a gallon a day on my 40g.
