Cool OT: Your knights are champions!

I'm sure you guys have heard by now, but the UCF Knights football team are Conference USA champions with a stunning win over the Tulsa Hurricanes, 44-25, Sunday. We are ecstatic to be playing Mississippi State in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl December 29. Looking forward to a great game.

The Tulsa who? Have we played against any big teams this year? None the less a bowl game is awesome.

We played 2 fifth rated teams, Texas, as Becca mentioned, which was a great game, we battled with the lead back and forth, and South Florida, which was the biggest dissappointed of the season.

24k is incredible! 2nd all-time in single season rushing yards, with 2448, and only behind Barry Sanders with 2628yds, so a strong bowl game will get him the record.

Will he come back next year is the big question. He could break NCAA FBS(Div I) football all-time rushing record, held presently by Barry Sanders at over 2,600 yards. Granted, in two extra games, but still extremely impressive.

My speculation is that he will. He's not up for the Hesiman this year (which will be announced this Saturday on ESPN at 8) and most of the offensive line, which got him those yards, should be returning.
