caesar is a nice guy and I have know people who have bought stuff from him in the past and have met him in person a few time. I wouldn't worry about buying stuff from him.

Eh, everyone just thinks I'm a guy because of the name--it's actually my puppy's name, btw. I'm sure he just meant that he has friends who have bought from me. That's weird about the meeting-in-person thing, though--I've never met the guy, or he'd probably notice that I'm not male! (I'm not exactly androgynous.) I don't know him, though, and have never even talked to him, as far as I know, so I'm not sure why he'd say that. Maybe he confused me with someone else? Still, I stand by my principles.

Simple solution is to put your actual name in your sig line.

Does anyone here think that it's crazy that the original poster who complained about this hasn't chimed back in in over THREE pages of posts. I have to side with Ceasar777 on this one!

I've traded stuff with Ceasar777. They were supposed to be "PPE without the greenskirt worthed $15-$20 a polyp", but they looked kind of brownish under my 10k metal halides. After a while, I realized they were not PPE and gave it to some friends with a zoo tank since I wanted more flow for SPS.

I will say that she packed it well and included a heat pack (the zoos came in great shape), but I should have demanded for a pic before making the deal. I thought they would atleast turn out purple.

That's news to me--you never contacted me about that, like the other select few who are suddenly coming out of the woodwork with this stuff. Besides, they are NOT brown at ALL! They're PURE PURPLE under my light (50/50 PC's), and under other people's metal halides--and they're not even those often-overkill 20,000K's. Feel free to ask the others I've traded/sold them to; I traded them with other people who were quite happy with them. joshnemily from Nano-Reef.com, for example, traded me three PPE-looking Blasto polyps for three of these, and they were very pleased. Tigahboy, a guy in Florida, and I are the only three people with frags of it, so it's not some common, cheap morph (not that ANY Blasto is now!). Feel free to ask for yourself--they were quite pleased with them.

Anyway...10,000K's? Try getting a 14,000K bulb, at least. Everything looks terrible under those old 10,000K's.

That's funny you claim that this is just a hobby for you. I'm a lurker at nano-reef.com and you make LOTS of sales. Also, your track record hasnt been the best there either.

I smell greed. Someone is buying, fragging as soon as possible, and then reselling for profit. IMO thats a business.

Really, hon? All I sold was some zoo frags from my own colonies and two corals that I didn't have room for--a huge frogspawn that was killing half my tank and a Lobo that I ended keeping. And I fragged that mother colony of the pulsing Sinularia to share cheap frags with others. (I did that with an Acan Lord too.) $30 was a damn good price for something that would have easily gone for double. It's called SHARING the wealth. But, as we all found out, the coral did NOT like being fragged, and the frags didn't like being shipped. I lost my mother colony because of all that. And, even despite having given people partial refunds ($20 of the $30), the buyers STILL felt they had reason to complain. And do you know what the buyers' problem was? Everyone said the same thing: they thought the coral would pulse more. "DOA's happen", they said--as they do, and I had warned them of it!--"that's not the issue". What got to them was that they thought I'd implied that it would pulse all the time. Again, whatever happened to researching a coral? Sheesh. How about not buying into the MOB before making your own conclusions? Some people sure do have a lot to say without even knowing what's actually going on.

Thanks for your thoughts, though.

That's a lot of fragging, even on a large tank!

Did you notice that all that equipment was being sold ALL AT ONCE, and MONTHS AGO?! That was a lot of old equipment I'd built up from over the years, and my CAR HAD DIED, so I had to sell off a lot of my stuff to be able to pay for it. I'd sold a lot more stuff on Craigslist--go ask those people. I'm not a store, just a person that had to sell off possessions to survive! $900, it hit me hard, but I need to be able to get to work, you know? You all know how it is. ****, someone sells off their stuff and suddenly they're a store.

Hmm...I'm seeing an old canopy (upgraded to an MH canopy), some snails (bought them as a giant lot, only way to get them, so I shared a few--look how many other hobbyists are doing that!), a reptile I don't have time for anymore, and lots of little zoo frags. Would you like to see my tank? I have dozens of colonies of zoos stuffed into it.

You people sure like to start trouble. GIVE IT A REST! Do you like causing unnecessary headaches? Look at all the other people who sell things here. I don't see anyone accusing them of being businesses. Give me a ****ing break. I'm sick of this.

Anyway, what's with you posting the same links several times? I'll explain EVERY DAMN ONE.

The Uro: one of my few reptiles that I still have, and I just don't have the time/am not home enough to feed her fresh veggies every day, and put in the time to get her okay with being handled. Is that a problem? No.

The chiller: I was going to set up a Nautilus tank, decided after months of study that I could not set up the proper habitat for them, and I'd rather have the money for corals, anyway.

The Lobo and frogspawn corals: NO ROOM for them. I only have a 30 gallon reef, and the huge frogspawn was killing everything in the tank by TOUCHING it, to give you an idea of how large and aggressive it was. Vicious critter, I fragged it and sold the pieces locally. The Lobo didn't get much interest, and I've since decided to hold onto it--made some space by rearranging the rock.

ALL THE EQUIPMENT LISTED a couple of months ago were for the car.

Why should I have to explain myself, anyway? Who doesn't have a ****-ton of old equipment laying around? And who doesn't frag their corals as they outgrow their areas, or trade them for new and interesting corals? And whose LPS haven't attacked other corals at one point or another? This is getting ridiculous. You're just trying to be a pain. If billpa didn't have a problem with me, and if you had a life outside of your computer, neither of you would be spending all this time "researching" me. How about doing an UNbiased search, anyway? ****. Look at all the advice I've given other hobbyists, among other things. And look at the buyers who have been HAPPY with me.
