Well...no doubt you wouldn't have to worry about buying *meat* for company!

True story, they do love you. You definately need to catch Momma and have her spayed. The coyotes? are probably eating the babies.

Is mama pretty tame or no?

She might make a great little addition to your home (outside, that is)....build her a little cat house and keep her warm and fuzzy all winter long! She WILL help keep the mice and other rodents away.

Mama is very tame. When I walk outside, she almost trips me because she has to walk along with me rubbing on my legs. She will let me pick her up (although I don't do it much), and likes to lay down and have her belly scratched.

There are a million cats in our neighborhood, I always see them in the yard chasing something. And I don't have to feed them.

Cute or not, they are not a natural part of the ecosystem.
My feral cat is cute and cuddly. We plucked her out of briars in the woods; she couldn't have been more than a couple weeks old, if that. The tiny little thing pooted all the way home (such stinky fumes from being malnourished, I guess), but she stayed in my lap during the ride home and meowed and purred and loved all over me.

That was 4 years ago. She's still a little stinker, but in the sweet sense now. Strong willed and independent, but knows who loves her.
