If you guys remember the beer brewing thread sometime early last year. anyways i went and bought some "golden hops"root and now i have this monster which is giving fruit for the first time.


what can i do besides let it wither and die on the vine?

I bet there is, it was even discussed here somewhat, but i do not have the tools, recipes,knowledge/knowhow and my wife is at the limit of her as she calls it "puttin gup with stuff"

so if anyone can tell me how to properly dry the hops, i will be more then willing to ship it to some one that wants to give it a try all for a taste of teh final product.....

i was thinking of just donating it to some one that would put it to use.


with all the produce i have picked so far out of my yard i can start a farmers market.


so far i have picked about 30 + lbs of tomatoes

peppers, eggplants, chili peppers, summer squash (zuchini?)

and i still have the motherload yet to ripe....

i am overwhelmed, I need a beer.......

by the way, the big heirloom tomatoes go great with a nice ribeye.................

had one on sunday thinking of doing the same this coming weekend.

not much of a garden, more like a patch.

when i get home i will upload some pics of my "patch"


oh I also got a ton of tomatillos, to make green salsa, those things are good, never grown them before, i planted 4 plants, 1 is enough, they put out a ton of fruit
