GODIVA White Chocolate Liquor

I got a bottle as a present (being I'm as sweet as they come). If I open it, can I leave it out at room temp? Or should I refrigerate it? Or should I drink the whole bloody bottle? {sweet burp}

Send it to me and I'll take care of it for you. It should say on the bottle. I personally would put it in the freezer to make it real cold.

Pete - I thought you were a chocolate snob. Wasn't it you that said Godiva was crap?

Used to do it all the time. When you pour it out it's all slushy!

Pete....when I worked for Red Lobster we used to carry the dark and never refrigerated it after opening...but I question the white chocolate because of the cream. Probably best to refrigerate that one. We used to refrigerate Bailey's after opening.

xxaquanutxx, that's exactly what I did.

Jamesurq, I don't like their chocolates; they have the look, feel and taste of mass-produced department store chocolates. But their ice cream and liquors are pretty decent stuff.

I put it in the fridge last night, and will do some testing later today.

ok - so pete... Being the coffee snob that you are too... Have you tried a little dash of it in your favorite brew?

mmmmmmmmmmmm......

My personal favorite:

Any good tamped fresh ground through my seaco..
1/2 shot of Kahluha
1/2 shot of Bailys
1/2 shot of Godiva
Wipped cream and shaved chocolate on top.

Serve with a purse and a scarf...

There is no need to put it in the frig. Back when I was a bartender we had both GODIVAs and Baileys, neither one was every put in to the frig or ice at night. In fact I asked both the Health inspector and the Liquor inspector and they said it was fine to leave out.

coffee machine.

Grinds, tamps and sends you into heaven with the touch of a button. They range in price quite a bit. I have one of the cheapest ones. This one here:

Sorry-- for some reason, I didn't recognize your typo as Saeco. I wonder what the cheapest reliable machine is that also has automatic frothing. I'd love to have a push-button machine at work, but don't have the "home budget" for it.

oops.. yeah typo..

We've left that machine on 24/7 for 2.5 years straight (apart from a week when we moved) and drink at least 5 cups from it every day - much more than that on the weekends. Reliable enough?

At that rate it's cost me 9 cents per cup to have a single button to press for premium coffee with a thick head of crema at any time of day or night.

Oh - it's worth it... trust me. mmmmmmm......

Alright think of it like this... It costs you $50k for a Krispy Kreme machine and that machine spits out like 50 donuts an hour........

I don't even like donuts that much, but for $500 I would buy one.

And 5-10K for a Reef tank isn't, Mr. Crazy? My budget for the coffee bar in our new house is $6k.

OK, so, this Seaco, it grinds the beans right?? And it spits out two cups at a time??? Explain to a dummy how it works

My poor Mr Coffee grind and brew is dying a slow and painful death. My brilliant husband has glued and jerry rigged things, but yet, it still has to have a jar of reef builder on top of it so it stays closed.

I would be VERY interested if the seaco made cappuchino coffee at two cups at a time. Just what I drink a day(each of us has one cup

It's a beautiful thing julie... yeah - grinds, and brews, and makes crema. (for those of you that don't know what this is - you're missing out).

The Seaco makes 2 cups of espresso and then you switch to steam to get the frothed milk ready...

My Mother in Law bought this thing... I had a couple cups from it and it was pretty decent
