found some Mrs Wages Pickling Lime for $2.64 at walmart Milpitas at the kitchen section top most self. JFYI

pickling lime is calcium hydroxide or often referred to as kalkwasser. when dissolved in fresh water it becomes limewater and can be dosed to an aquarium to maintain calcium and carbonate. it also increases ph.

any of u use this in adition to two part solution? my cal is @ 400, kh @ 8 and ph @ 8.4...i know these parameters are fine but i want to test out my luck w/ higher levels(im going to try out pappone!). it seems no matter how much 2 part i use, i cant raise my parameters any higher....w/o buying a calcium reactor, anyony think i should add lime water?
