vacation....

Hey there-
I finally get a break from school and get to come back down to the great land of STL!
Trouble is, I haven't left my saltwater tank alone for this long. I have a friend who can come every other day or so, but there will be a break of at least 4 days right around the actual holiday. i'll be gone for two weeks total.

I can't fit an automatic feeder in the tank wihtout losing too much to evaporation.

Do you use "vacation feeders" as you can in freshwater? I'm a saltwater newbie.

Just want to make sure my one-eyed clown will be ok. The tank is a ten gallon with just her and 3 mexican turbo snails, some live rock and mushrooms and zoas.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

vacation continued

Yes, they will be topping off as well and adding the supplements as normal. She's a fish person too so I think that stuff will be fine.
I'm more worried about the feeding issue as I have read that clowns can get very stressed if there are changes in their feeding.

Aahh! Sorry I thought I was replying to my previous post...not sure what happened- can someone please move it back? It won't let me delete it. Thanks!

I sometimes feed my clown on an irregular schedule. Sometimes I cant make it home before lights out on the tank and I used to travel a day or two here for work. My clown does fine and it often get sfed a little very day or two. Missing food for a three-four day span should be fine.
