Update: With a fan blowing across the water, My temp has stayed at 78! Yay!

So judging by the responses here, it sounds like no one is intentionally running their tanks at 80+? In the Reef Inverts pocket book, Dr. Shimek recommends 81-84 as the optimal temp range. I've been running there for a few months and I hit 84 with some frequency.

No good?

I think most try to keep to 82 max.
78-82 range

Mid 70's for Tongan corals, and the other stuff doesn't seem to mind.
