The CNC work reminds me of all the small shops creating CNC components for bikes, particularly mountain bikes, back in the late 80s till the mid 90s.
Looking forward to seeing the product in operation (videos) and pricing.

Where does it mount? It looks big and bulky.

i think it is external so you can screw it to your stand and the port you can plumb w/ PVC then

That looks pretty cool. I wonder what the final price will be when it actually hits the market? They also do not make any mention to the power needs of the unit. I wonder if it is a low voltage motor or runs on standard house power?

The 8 way valve mounts remotely or even on the top of the tank, with the ports plumbed wherever you want them.
The little device at the bottom does go in the tank and its jet rotates 45 deg every pulse of the water from the 8 way or from a standard wavemaker driven powerhead.

Does it sorta work like a SCWD? All automatic/no batteries / AC required? Does water movement change the position of what port the water flows through? Or does water flow only control the parts that turn in the tank and the unit is powered?

i think there might be a plug-in for the power for that thing that turns so it opens or closes some nozzles....not sure though

Wow that looks cool! Has anyone gotten a price yet? Hopefully it’s somewhat affordable.

"Hopefully it’s somewhat affordable"
Define "somewhat". Mike D, You've got it. The 8 way is powered by a small AC motor and the submersible unit works by pulsed water pressure.

Im going to give them a ring later today. Was just about to sort out what I needed in terms of seaswirls for my new tank, but Ill give this a shot if the price isnt going to kill me.

I'd be interested in pricing, understandable that it may be expensive as it is "the next best thing" but if it works well I'd sure like to get one, as I don't think a SCWD would like my new pump (too much flow), and if this replaces two (2) seaswirls, I can see how price might be a bit on the high side.......

I just sent an e-mail asking for a price on one with 4 outputs. I really don't want to have to run 8 seperate lines into my tank. I'll post the reply once I receive it.
