I have a 24" version with BlueWave and recently swapped to Galaxy ballast. I love it and it is super bright and nice coverage.

I have the same exact fixture, but in the 2x150w and haven't had any problems for 2 years. If you do a search a few members experienced louder fans, but mine has been quiet for 2 years without issue. I have a couple of other vendors that you can get good pricing on this unit as well, if you're interested.

They're one of the best MH/T5 fixtures in regards to performance and build. They're built in the USA (I think they still are). They're better than all of the Chinese manfactured fixtures.

They do lose style points compared to some of the European fixtures. Additionally, some of the European units will outperform the Maristar in light spread, but at the same time, those units are about double the cost of the Maristar.

My only complaints about the fixture are its fans (loud) and shield removal is a PAIN. Some people have swapped out their fans for much quiter DC fans.
