Question Whose had a clown host a torch, hammer, or frogspawn?

I'm just curious as to how often this happens. And, if there were any negative effects on the coral.

Mine loves my frogspawn, and also called my hammer home before I got the FS. I've seen no issues at all from this. It's pretty common, and shouldn't cause any harm.

How long has it hosted the FS? And how long for the hammer?

I have a pair of clowns that host in my torch coral. They have been in it for about 2 months now. Have not seen any bad effects to the torch coral. An they are constantly rubbing on it.

mine hosts in all three of them. i don't think there has been any negative affects because of this. the corals do withdraw for a bit if the clowns go rooting in them.

I had a couple of ocellaris/false percs host my frogspawn for over a year until I took down the tank. Both coral and clown did well.

I picked up a tank raised Percula a couple of months ago. He took to a Frogspawn right away.

Mine don't really pay much attention to my 6-headed frogspawn. I originally thought they'd eventually get used to it but they don't really seem to notice it.

My pair are in a patch of fuzzy mushrooms. I'd say for 2 months now, no ill effects.

They've called the frogspawn home since I've gotten it, which was back in mid-summer, I think. It actually preferred it over the hammer. Before that, he called the hammer home, which was since I got that, too. Probably for roughly 6-8 months. I don't have an anemone, so my clown found a nice substitute.

I have a pair of ocellaris that have hosted in hammer for over two years with no ill effects. I also have a large black saddleback that has hosted in a singularia for about three years and a pair of tomatoes that have hosted an rbta for about 4 years.

My clowns were hosted by a bunch of hairy mushrooms for months and the mushrooms eventually shrunk down to almost nothing. They were 6-8" in diameter fully expanded and now they are a little more than an 1". I guess they couldn't handle the abuse from the clowns rubbing in them 24/7. I bought them an anemone last week and as soon as I put the anemone in the tank they ran from it and have been hosting my frogspawn ever since. The frogspawn doesn't seem to mind at all.

Mine hosts a frogspawn. I have had both in the same tank for over a year. She started hosting a few weeks ago.

My Clown likes his Leather. I have both a FP & a Hammer in this tank and although he sometimes checks out the hammer, he practically lives in his Leather chair - no harm done after about two years of this.
