"Quick release neck" on a skimmer?

I was just looking at the Marine Solutions page for the Octo Xtremes and it says "Quick release neck on the collection cup" - what does that mean? Is that something special to the Xtremes? Or...?

Holy crap! Serious? ZERO clearance with the quick-release feature? This is EXACTLY the info I needed to know before placing my order for the 250! Woo hoo!
