New Mushroom and GSP...How do I attach to rock?

I picked up a single Red Mushroom and a small strand of GSP's today. Neither are attached to any rock yet. Will either of them attach themselves or do I need to superglue these like my SPS.

Soft corals do not respond well to having superglue applied directly to their tissue. What I have done in the past is to place a few pieces of rubble in a pvc floor drain and place the corals in with the rubble. After a couple of days they will attach. The floor drain works well as water can still pas through it but it also protects the corals from being blown around. Good Luck!

Idk about the mushroom, but you can rubberband the GSP to a rock for a couple days and it will attach. Then take the rubberband off.

either set the shroom somewhere low-flow where it can attach to a rock or gravel, or bridal veil it down with rubberbands. gluing is pretty hopeless w/shrooms.

GSP, on the other hand is perfect for supergluing. determine which side of the mat (little purple sheet) is down, dab it on a kleenex and set it in a blob of SG. dunk it to kill the SG

You can either use a small plastic cup, or one of the hang on tank things like the lfs use before bagging fish. Put some small holes in it and some rubble rock. Set it in the tank, and they will attach themselves in a few days.

Got them set, super glued the GSP and just set the Mushroom in a spot where it wouldn't get blown around. When I woke up this morning it seemed to have taken up permenant residence where I set it.
