try to keep it seperate from other corals, i usually surround the colony with small peices of rubble, so when it decides to walk, you can just bring the peice on rubble to the fish store for store credit. What kind is it? are you selling it. Also its really easy to frag, just cut the stalk and rubberband it to rubble.

well i tried the chlorine like dave said and the problem has cleared up and the water is really blue now ,but now i only have sand and rock.

i have the the smaller tentacles pink in color and the larger feather tentacles more of a brownish in color .i figured the stronger flow and the metal halides would keep to the lower parts of the tank but no luck .so i started scraping off the rock when it got to close to something but now if i don't get everypiece it floats and makes a new colony. stuff grows like a weed .almost as bad as glass anomnes. ill give or trade some of this pest with out a problem . it seems to love alot of flow and light .i have it growing right to the top of the tank with 2 250 watt halides and two 110 vho on top of a 55 .
