I have a QO 3000 as my return it works great. Check out the prices at petsmart.com and then have the store match the price if its more expensive than the net.

i use them, mostly because of size. and they are ok on sound, if you submerge and isolate the pumps you cant hear them at all, even if you have your head inside the cabinet! but they will add heat if done that way.

so quieter than the mag drive or ocean runner pumps? and no oil/resin leak issues reported like with Rio pumps?

I run a 6000. Much quieter and more reliable than the mag I had previously.
