pump size - for a 65

Would a mag-5 be adequate for the return pump on a 65 gallon tank? My friend wants to buy a set up used that comes with a mag -5 and an Amiracle trickle filter - great price, but I'm not sure that the mag will be adequate for the return.

it will be fine... especially since it is through one overflow and not being T'd off. It will do its job then you can let other powerheads circulate the tank as well.

It would be better to use a closed loop or powerheads for additional circulation.

Trying to put too much through a sump is not a good idea.

It can cause problems with micro bubbles.
