Garlic Extreme is just garlic. Garlic Guard contains some other anti oxidants like vitamin c. Home made garlic juice is... well cheaper .
I make my own fish food so i put cloves of garlic in it that the fish daily. If you're trying to administer it to fish you could just soak some food or nori in the Garlic Extreme for a little while then just feed it to the fish. Some people also put it directly into the tank too. I don't because I figure it leaches off of the nori or food that they normally get so why bother. |

I use it in my pasta sauces and garlic bread. I have used kents garlic extreme, when my hippo had ich. It was extreme, the smell lingered in my tank room for days. I had better luck adding a cleaner shrimp to cure the ich.

Garlic is not a proven cure for anything. the jury is still out on it. I use garlic extreme as an appetite enhancer and the fish seem to like it. I halve qualms about it or any preserved manufactured product . The ingredient in garlic that helps build immuno stregth is allicin. Allicin is only active for about an hour after the garlic is pressed. So fresh garlic is clearly a better bet if you are hoping to get therapuetic benefit, Even then there is no evidence that it will cure anything.
