The best resources are books. Scott Michael has a number of good books. His "Reef Fishes" is a good place to start.

A 14g is very small. I might put one of the smaller clown goby fishes into it, or a neon goby. I think LiveAquaria.com has a nano tank page for fish that's not too bad. One percula or ocellaris clownfish (anemonefish) might be a fine idea.

If you had an idea of the thread title one of us might be able to hunt it down.

Meanwhile, go to liveaquaria.com, to marine fish, to the left side of the display page, and there's a compatibility url.

Better yet, the type of fish you want for a 14g are called nanofish, and that page has nanofish as a category, and they will generally get along with each other.

Don't fall into the trap of "I can get a baby fish and it will only grow to fit the tank". Not true with marine fish, some of which measure adult length in FEET, not inches. The nanofish are mostly what I have in my 54, and find it a very fine arrangement.

the best way to describe the thread was basically a list of tank sizes, with a list of fish below each tank size thats compatible with the size.

zestay, that link for some reason brings me to the main forum.

Hope this is what you are looking for! You are right, clicking on this link from here just takes you to a RC page! Copy the url and paste it in your browser to get there, or copy my subject line and do a search for the post, either works. Good luck! http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/in...opic=74703&hl=
