One Zoo, Two mouths..?

One of my larger RPE has two mouths. One is smaller but is still functional, and opens when feeding. Anyone ever see this before? I can take a picture but it will have to wait till later today.

it's likely in the process of splitting into two heads. while not the typical way of reproducing, it's not to unusual either.

Jovreefer,

Try using flash. That's what I had to do to get a shot of my RPE's. Those pics always blur under my lighting. HTH

I can get some pics of the ppe whole colony...I just cant get up close with my camra and the fact that the one with 2 mouths is in the back of the colony it makes it kinda hard... I'll try again sometime soon and contribute my mouths to the thread.

yes...I am going to take more pictures of it as it progresses. When I first saw it a few weeks ago, I though it was eating itself!
