DIY chiller for a 3 gal catilna goby tank

I've been considering building a DIY dorm frige chiller
reefshow.com/html/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=39
for my 3 gal picotope, and making it a Catilina goby tank. Has anyone tried this DIY project yet, if so with what results? I'm looking for thoughts and comments on this idea. Also if you can think of any compatible inverts or corals please let me know.

Thanks...Joshua

Out of curiousity, why do you need a chiller on the tank?
