Anything that is not flavored, salted or oiled...etc. and the fish will eat is good to go. I get my weird algaes from the local asian market. The tang and trigger love it!!

I have the Kelp and the Nori I bought from the same store chain. I have a Kole Tang who loves the Nori and only picks at the Kelp. I'm going to eventually try some of the other things. variety is good, right!?
