Echino - Feed me I am hungry....

I was doing little rework on coral location and suprise to see one of my echino put feeders out (I have seen feeders during night times but not daytime light....) so I took some pics.

Sure, Acans were all jumping and "feed me..." but suprised to see echino feeders during daytime light and I was not even feeding but my hands were in water in and out....

Does anyone of your echino do this sometime?

my echinos do that as well, sometimes even during the day.
it seems that my tubs alien eye has short acan looking feeders and my watermelon has this one big long sweeper. i see them once or twice with the lights on. usually its because they were fed the nite before.
looks nice mschris.

Mine does it almost every time I put my hands in the tank. Then again I typically feed them with the lights on to.

I moved from NY to SC and been tankless for a bit but I got a 15 gallon cycling and am working on a 75 or a 90. I got a nice used setup but ran into a few problems with it
