Looks like a chunk of Acanthastrea echinata.

I don't think its an echinata, the polyps are very fleshy (expand a lot), and the size of the polyps are much larger than any echinata I have ever seen.

Nice color pattern Clownfish.

I think it is Acan Echinata for now.... The reason that I am saying this.... Well, I have seen good number of Echinatas but few are vary fleshy (most of them are not)

Let's say I have one Org Rainbow Acan which is came from Tighaboy back in March that one does not even look like Echinata and Orginal Orange Crush is vary flesh as well but most of recent wild colonies which has kinda same color pattern are not fleshy as Org Rainbow Acan or Orange Crush. (I do not own Original Orange Crush but wild colony).

I kinda had same question over over again since I do see somewhat difference from among Echinatas and I asked.
This is the answer I got from Randy. (I hope Randy do not mind putting his words without permission - I asked and he answered on someother Forum so I guess it should be ok right Randy?)

"While the polyps are way more fleshy that any other Echinata I've seen, the growth is the same as Echinata. The frag I have has started to plate away from the rock, making it's own skeleton. That's how Echinatas grow. Lords cling to the rock, even if it makes them grow upside down in a cave.
Not that growth is any proof of species."

"I'd say it could be from captive growth. They could be an undescribed species."

I agree with the Echinata ID. I have an Orange one from Atlanticreef that is very very fleshy.

I don't know if its a lord, it "puffs out" differently, if that makes sense. Whatever it is I like it.
