the stronger species will adapt and continue to reproduce, then when the earth cools itself off again we'll have even more diversity, as thinga change yet again

i consider it a semi-good thing, it means more diversity for future generations, of course not for thousands of years, but still...

a nuclear winter could also do it...

but seriously, i don't think that a large die-off will result in more diversity. the fewer species that can survive higher temperatures will propagate and take over. think about a shock to your tank. the sps will likely die first, and the remaining species (like hardier softies) will propagate. yes, after a while, you might have the same amount of coral, but the diversity will be less...

sman, im saying, once there is the initial die off, and the earths conditions change, new things will start to pop up...

how do you think we got all the diversity we have today? millions of years of evolution

Anyone seen Al Gore's movie about global warming, "An Inconvenient Truth?" If you haven't you should. Very eye opening...

Definitely a good watch. While I don't know how much is over-done, it is still very convincing and eye opening.

They have found Viking maps of Islands in the arctic circle. Sonar has proved the islands to exist under the ice. Which means There was no Ice there at one time.... It seems that history repeats itself. Im sure rough time are coming before it gets back to normal, but im sure it wont be in my life time.
