Dive with Woody! no kidding, I am sure you have seen the t-shirts "dive with A woody" but there is actualy a dive guide over there named woody that has a small boat, he is most excellent- my wife and I dived with him 4 or 5 years ago and he was GREAT!

his boat is small (holds 6 people max) but man it was one of the best dives we have ever done!

go to the docks @ lahina and ask for dive reccomendations specificaly for a guy named woody.

any of the charter boats will treat you right, molakini crater in the morning is awesome , its over 100 feet garden eel colony, sharks tons of schooling fish. Do some beach dives save$ Makena is nice there are caves, do the other side of the island , there are some coves,,,black rock is the best that is where the turtles are......I got more but...........

Just got back 2 week ago. Snorkling was great! we didn't get to do the crater, Snorkled some of the beaches first. IMO if you are not certified for SCUBA then the crater might not be as fun. We pretty much seen EVERYTHING you see at the crater just by swimming out 20 feet from the beach. Check out the aquarium "Maui Ocean Center" They have a really cool Jellyfish tank. Also. If your doing the Road to Hanna. Leave Around 1030am HAVE FUN!!
